Register and Update your MDCPS parent portal
Please visit your Parent Portal and update your volunteer status every school year. You must be registered as a Level 1 to be able to volunteer at school events.
Below find some of the ways you can volunteer.

Get to know other parents as you serve on a team of 2 or 3. Arrive on campus at 3:00pm to receive the food from the caterer and set up for the student's arrival at 3:45. Serve the food and clean-up is done by 5:00. The students are fed and ready for rehearsal or show!
Meal Services
Arrive on campus on show day for your shift. Might include assembly of food to be sold and set up. Smile and collect money as theatergoers buy treats to support our department. Depending on your shift, assist with clean-up. We accept items to sell and donations, as well.
Concessions
We assist the PTSA in their great event. Spend the morning and early afternoon at a local park for Field Day. We set up tents and coolers and sell gatorade, water and pizza. Get to know other parents and enjoy some time outside. If you can't make it, you can donate money for buying supplies.
Field Day
NEW - Theater Workshop. Help us organize our first ever NWSA Theater Department Workshop to welcome students from different Middle Schools to get a taste of what we are all about.
NEW - Theater Workshop
Volunteer for a committee to do set up, clean up, food service, silent auction, decorations. Arrive as early as 1pm on Dinner Day and stay after to clean up.
Spaghetti Dinner Committee
Usually on Opening Night, we host the cast and their fans to a small reception with a special cake and beverages. Set up, clean up and beverage donation encouraged.
